Urimax D (generic name: tamsulosin / dutasteride) is a combination drug for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with an enlarged prostate.

Each film-coated tablet contains:
tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg (modified release)
dutasteride 0.5 mg

Urimax D is manufactured by Cipla.

Recommendations

Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Take Urimax D exactly as directed.

The recommended dose is one tablet once daily with or without food. The tablet should be swallowed whole and should not be crushed or chewed.
